Heart of Thoughts is a surreal psychological horror RPG passion project that is a tragic prequel to my unknown and unfinished Paintbound webcomic. It tells the story of 9-year-old Claire, a quiet, neurodivergent kid dealing with deep, silent depression, and the beautiful, devastating childhood anomaly that changed her life forever.
Day by day, explore a cozy neighborhood filled with quirky residents while trying to make sense of this mundane world. But when the sky darkens and turns to afternoon, a gateway to a whole new experience opens!
Walk through and you will be transported into the Sub-Sensical Night-City which is a vibrant mirror universe of Claire's hometown locked in an eternal midnight.
THE NEXUS OF DOORS
Wander through a sorta labyrinth of glowing doors inside the night-city. Each door leads to an isolated, beautifully bizarre landscape born from Claire's mind (which may or may not include endless deserts of cosmic frozen yogurt.)

Claire is usually a girl of few words and way fewer expressions. But when you discover rare cosmic anomalies hidden in the dark, her guard drops completely. Watch her face light up into a star-struck state of pure childhood wonder :O
HOW TO LIVE???
To survive, you must balance your exploration. Uncover the secrets of the night-city, solve cooperative puzzles with your trailing companion, and make it back through the afternoon portal in time to save your progress by going to sleep in your own bed.
